Jazz vs. Kings Preview

Before playing the Kings on December 4th, the Jazz were off to a great start at 13-5. Since then, they are 11-13. They lost to the Kings 117-107 in Sacramento, and that loss was the first of six consequtive losses. The Jazz, however, seem to be figuring things out. They are 8-2 in their last 10 games (could this have anything to do with the Kyle Korver trade?), and picked up their first road win since December 21st on Monday against the Clippers.

The Jazz also have one of the most impressive home court records in the NBA at 17-3. In November, they beat the Kings 117-93 at Energy Solutions Arena.

The Kings were without star point guard Mike Bibby in both matches against the Jazz this season. Since returning from his injury, Bibby is averaging 15.4 points and 4 assists per game. He is also averaging a field goal shooting percentage of 78.6 and a 3-Point shooting percentage of 48.0. While these numbers a still a hair under his career average, he seems to be near 100%.

Tip-off is at 7:00 PM on KJZZ. Come back later for post-game comments and highlights, including my pick for play of the game.
